Today we’re announcing significant changes to the FreshCut ecosystem. FreshCut is ending integration of FreshCut Diamonds (FCD) into the FreshCut platform in order to best serve its community and prioritize company growth. The FreshCut platform and company will no longer support blockchain product development or cryptocurrencies. 

 

A refund will be offered by Pentalabs, the token issuer and developer, using the remaining proceeds of the token offering from May 2022. Token holders who purchased FCD on primary or secondary markets (or earned FCD from quests and events) should read this blog by Pentalabs to learn more about the refund.

 

It’s FreshCut’s mission to build a leading platform for creators and the gaming community. While FreshCut supports web3 technology, current economic conditions coupled with negative industry sentiment due to bad actors pose serious headwinds to mass adoption. As a result, FreshCut is making the necessary strategic adjustments to support the next evolution of the business by ending support for FCD. Next month, a new version of the FreshCut app will be released with a redesigned experience that prioritizes gaming communities, immersive and engaging content, and creators.
